Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 1000 ("P1K") serving the Shakerag/Bell Road community area of Johns Creek, Georgia. We are proud to be a part of Scouting America and to offer a welcoming community where boys and girls can learn new skills, build friendships, and grow through scouting.
Today, children spend more and more time in digital environments. While technology is an important part of modern life, scouting provides opportunities for real-world experiences. Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and teamwork, scouts develop practical skills, confidence, and independence.
We focus on building character, leadership, and a sense of responsibility while making sure our scouts are having fun along the way. Our den meetings and pack activities include outdoor adventures, camping, skill-building, and community service projects that help scouts learn by doing.
We are supported by dedicated volunteer leaders and engaged parents who work together to create a positive and inclusive environment. Scouting works best when families are involved, and we encourage parents to participate in pack activities and help support their scout’s journey.
We welcome families from all backgrounds and faiths and believe that the diversity of our community strengthens the scouting experience for everyone.
Whether your child is new to scouting or already has experience, we welcome you to Pack 1000. If you would like to learn more, please click the Request More Information button. When you are ready to begin your child’s scouting adventure, simply click the Sign Up button.
